1) Which motor and battery should I choose?

Overall best setup:
3650 2300kv motor, 80A+ ESC, 4s 2000mAh LiPo
More runtime setup:
3650 2300kv motor, 80A+ ESC, 3s 2500mAh LiPo

2) My boat leaks, what should I do?

The first step is to identify where the leaks are coming from.
To do this, submerge your boat and carefully search for bubbles.
The most common sources of leaks are the lid, driveshaft and steering rod.

3) How to seal the lid?

Try upscaling or downscaling the lid in your slicer by a tiny amount. You can use different scaling for X and Y axis.
Getting the size exactly right will make the lid tighter.
Another solution is to place cutted zip ties under the sillicone pipe in the hull. This will also make the lid tighter.
Another solution is to apply grease.
Last solution is to use tape.

4) How to seal the driveshaft?

Make sure the flat plate on the shaft around the coupler does not extend into the O-ring, creating a gap.
Apply thick grease into the grease port.

5) How to seal the steering rod?

If your sealing rod does not seal the way it is, there are some options to modify the area.
First option is to pull a sillicone pipe over the steering rod and slightly drilling the hole in the hull for good fit.
Second option is to use a rubber bellow, similar to pushrod steering systems on prop boats use.
